24VDC Electronic Circuit Protector for Hazardous Locations
The ESX10-T electronic circuit protector is dedicated to 24 VDC powered systems for current based loads from 0.5 amps to 16 amps. This technology provides the fastest overload detection and disconnection compared to any other circuit breaker technology in the industry. This solid-state device outperforms any typical thermal-magnetic breaker available today. The ESX10-T has a red/green LED mounted on the face which allows for immediate visual indication of the circuit breakers output status to simplify of I/O field device troubleshooting.
The ESX10-T is accompanied has several hazardous location approvals based on it inherit solid state design, including: UL 1604, CSA 22.2, No: 213, and ATEX, making it ideal for control panels deployed in hazardous locations with Class I, Division 2 switch mode power supplies, I/O modules, terminal blocks, and industrial switches. The ESX10-T is also remotely resettable and UL 508 approved, making it ideal for SCADA/RTU applications.

E-T-A’s 4231-T is approved to UL1077, CSA22.2, and UL Class I Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D. The Class I, Division 2 approval allows engineers deploying control systems in hazardous locations to eliminate NEMA 7 enclosures and/or Purge Systems in most applications.
E-T-A’s 4231-T is in the same industry standard footprint as Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB) - 17.6 mm wide. Allowing engineers to save almost 50% per pole compared to other 120VAC Class I, Division 2 devices on the market.
