Alarm system on the E-BOX display
Convenient use and reliable security are key requirements for modern mobile homes. By integrating the Thitronik alarm system into the E-BOX display, E-T-A offers a solution that combines both.
The relevant information from the alarm system is transmitted directly to the E-Box via the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) interface, where it is clearly displayed. Users can get a quick status overview of their security system at any time. You can immediately see on the display whether the alarm system is armed or disarmed.
The central display ensures intuitive operation and improves transparency in everyday driving. All the relevant information is available in one central location and can be easily accessed via the E-BOX display.
Thitronik and E-T-A emphasise security. Although the alarm system’s functions can be operated directly via the E-BOX, a personal PIN code must be entered for any security-related actions. This prevents unauthorised access to the alarm control centre. The high security standard of the Thitronik solution is maintained even when integrated into the vehicle display.
Another system feature is the panic function. It can be triggered directly via the E-BOX and activates the vehicle’s horn and indicators. This immediately attracts attention – for example, in a dangerous situation or when help is needed quickly. This feature provides an extra level of security, particularly in car parks or remote locations.
