Quality Control Technician - Mt. Prospect, IL

Duties:

• Testing and inspection of incoming product, final product and customer returns.
• Entry of testing information on report logs and other forms.
• Reporting of defective material as required.
• Calibration of test equipment and maintenance of the calibration records.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• The ability to understand detailed written work instructions.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good time management skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Quality certifications and/or classes. 
• Ability to read schematics.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years manufacturing and quality control experience and/or training.
• Experience testing electrical or electromechanical products.
• Experience using Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Good eyesight and manual dexterity is required.
• Strong mathematical skills.
