E-T-A accredited test laboratory

Even low-voltage devices, for which approvals cannot be obtained, are subjected to strict quality tests at E-T-A. This is ensured by observing the European standard EN 45000 for test laboratories. Since 1991 E-T-A has had an officially approved test laboratory accredited by the DATech (responsible German authority). Our test lab is allowed to test »non-approved« switching devices - our own products and others, - with regard to conformance with EC directives. Based on the test documents the manufacturer may issue a declaration of conformity or apply for a European LOVAG certificate with ALPHA (German authority for testing and certification of low voltage devices, LOVAG = Low Voltage Agreement Group).

Our test laboratory has also received the »Certification of Qualification«, issued by the American approval authority »Underwriters Laboratories Inc.«. It was the first German lab to be accredited for testing circuit breakers according UL standard UL 1077. This privilege did not come by chance, but was the result of competence, quality and reliability.
