Electronic Circuit Protector ESX10-T

The track-mountable circuit protector ESX10-T expands our product range for efficient power distribution and overcurrent protection of DC24V systems. The ESX10-T features a combination of active electronic current limitation in the event of a short circuit and overload disconnection from 1.1 times rated current and thus ensures selective and reliable disconnection of all DC24V load circuits, independent of cable lengths and cross sections. Other benefits are: fixed current ratings from 0.5 A through 12 A, one single trip curve for all loads, signalling, remote reset, remote ON/OFF and an extremely small width of only 12.5 mm.

Track-mountable type 4220-T for industrial applications packs a powerful punch within an ultra-slim housing of just 12.5 mm. Current ratings in finely graded steps form 0.1 A through 32 A ensure overcurrent protection for loads and their supply lines can be optimised, while five sets of trip characteristics are available to suit different load conditions. An integral busbar design – sophisticated, but easily manageable – serves for power distribution and configures signalling.

The new device – particularly designed for manufacturers of electric appliances producing in high quantities – combines robust circuit breaker design with attractive styling at a profitable price. Typical applications include electric motors, household appliances, office equipment, garden and hobby tools, power supplies, charging rectifiers, cable extension reels, and multiple socket outlets.
