We consider our suppliers as a vital link in the chain leading to success and achievement of our company goals, be it in the OTP process (order-to-payment) to ensure a constant supply, in professional implementation of our new product developments or in optimally utilising market opportunities for E-T-A.
We expect our suppliers to co-operate with us on the basis of good commercial practice, with mutual trust and respect. We encourage competition between prospective suppliers and look for superior expertise with favourable total acquisition costs. We deliberately integrate our suppliers into our supply chain and expect not only creativity, flexibility and reliability, but also creation of value stretching beyond pricing alone.
Depending on the different goals, we distinguish between our suppliers, but with the continuous demand of optimally meeting our performance requirements:

Serial suppliers
They meet our regular requirements. We usually sign frame contracts with a one-year validity and review business relationships annually.

Preferred suppliers
They will have proved a reliable serial supplier and optimised our business relationship with suggestions for improvement to our mutual benefit. If applicable they will be included in new product developments from the start on grounds of their technological expertise. As far as economically justifiable they will preferably receive the award of a contract for new developments.
| Value added partners With or without serial deliveries they have become strategically important partners for E-T-A. Material to the co-operation is a shared focusing or business idea, concentration on core competences, working in partnership and long-term orientation. Focus of the co-operation may either be in the OTP process (order-to-payment) or in the ITP (idea-to-profit). |
